According to Katie, our digital world has a file island exactly like the one in digimon adventure's multiverse. No information on the rest of the digital world.

What snargufle said is right. The Digital World does have a File Island. A lot of the digimon live there. But there are also forests, deserts, tundras, a lot of different places. I can't exactly explain it. You would have to go there yourself.

I would think it looks exactly like it does in Digimon Adventure. I only believe season one is real due to the information given in the series.
